News from around our School
At the beginning of February during lockdown the Art Department was contacted by a business man from the local community. The School was asked if we would be interested in showing the students work during Oxford Artweeks 2021. Without hesitation the art team set to work to bring together, virtually, a selection of our students' artworks ready for the show.
Oxfordshire Artweeks is the UK’s biggest artist open studios & pop-up exhibition event. A non-profit making organisation owned by its artist members and run for the benefit of Oxfordshire artists & the wider community by a board of voluntary directors, made up of artists and other professionals who generously donate their time and expertise. From their kitchen tables, they organise the whole festival, including a guide, website and endless publicity.
Due to Covid restrictions the Cooper School has chosen to appear online only so take a look at the showcase of students work on the website including more work available to view through the Exhibition Catalogue.
We are so proud of our students’ achievements throughout the last year. This will be the first year of many of our involvement with Oxfordshire Artweeks looking forward to being able to do an onsite exhibition next year, celebrating the students hard work and dedication.
Dream big, work hard, be kind.
