Catering Arrangements from September 2020

Further to the letter sent from the Director of Finance & Academy Services on 16 July 2020, please be aware of the following regarding catering arrangements from the start of the new academic year.

Our external catering provider, Alliance in Partnership, will be providing food at break and lunch time, but service will be from specific collection points within each bubble (please see details provided in the letter dated 14 July 2020 regarding Arrangements for Term One, September - October Half Term).  As a result of this, parents are advised to pre-order their requirements via ParentPay by 11.59pm each day for the following day, so for example if you are ordering for a Tuesday, you will need to order by 11.59pm the day before, Monday

Menus will be available via the ParentPay system, with a limited choice of food available and this will be in the form of a lunch bag at a set cost of £2.60.  Students will not be able to order a separate sandwich/drink, but there will be a choice of lunch bag e.g. ham, tuna etc.

Parents are advised to regularly top up their ParentPay account, as the cost of the meal will be deducted at the point of ordering. 

The majority of parents of September's Year 7 students will be able to pay and order online via ParentPay and a letter was sent to those parents for whom we had the relevant information at the beginning of August, to advise of the arrangements for this together with login details.  Unfortunately there were a small number of students who did not receive a letter, as we did not have all the necessary details to set up an account in ParentPay.  So, if you have not received a letter, please provide your child with a packed lunch/snacks, until such time as you receive a letter from us with your login details.   

There may also be other students who are new to the school who have not received a letter with login details for ParentPay, and again please provide a packed lunch/snack for your child until a letter is sent to you.  We are working towards resolving this matter as soon as possible and apologise for any inconvenience in the short term.

All payments must be made online and there will no longer be the facility to top up using the Reval machine in the Music Block.  (Cash will only be accepted in exceptional circumstances.)

The arrangements for food ordering will be the same for all students, but if your child is entitled to a free school meal this will be dealt with in the system and payment will not be required.  If you believe that your child is entitled to a free school meal and you have not received a letter with login details, please contact us via email office@thecooperschool.co.uk, so that we can carry out the necessary checks and make suitable arrangements where necessary.

Amendments to the ParentPay system have been made, to transform this from a payable to a payable/ordering system, during the summer holidays in time for the September start.
